    Just returned from the East Coast, Boston. Pouring rain and sleet. Stood waiting for bus and then walked blocks. Remained totally dry. I did wear this over a down coat. Then I was completely warm and toasty. As mentioned it does run large so even though I think a Medium would have fit I had room to spare with the down coat underneath. As that coat was a packable one and this Viev coat is so light weight I was able to put both in a small backpack when inside building. Did not know I that anything on my back! The coat along is warm enough for any California winter day. I like that it almost feel like you are not wearing a jacket.

    Looks exactly as pictured, upper thigh length, straight cut. Not sure why the reviewers said bell shaped and knee length. Thin and crunchy like a garbage bag. Sorry I paid shipping for it.

    Near perfect warm, waterproof jacket. It does run large. I am a size eight, so ordered the M, but it was way too big. I exchanged it for the small (4-6) and it fits beautifully, with room for a sweater underneath.
    I looked up the company. This coat is a fabulous buy, as it really dld sell for $1,300.00 originally!
    My only complaint is that it does not have a two way zipper.
