    I own four of these because they are good, multipurpose lighting devices. The output is brighter than you’d expect for the small size. It runs on a single AA so the run time is not too long but adequate.
    I wish that instead of a strobe, it had a lower output mode.
    It works fine with rechargeable NiMH batteries.

    Small hybrid lantern flashlight that runs on a single AA battery. It’s quite bright for the small size but at the cost of battery life. I use rechargeable batteries that work fine in this product. The design is thoughtful and build quality is decent. For a sub-$10 price, it’s a nice addition to a camp kit. I have three of these because I bought extra when Sierra had them on clearance. All are great.
    Three modes of Low, High, and Strobe. I’d rather have a red light than strobe mode in a product like this.

    Very disappointing item, which turns on for one second before turning off with fresh batteries. Have other UCO products that are great, but this little light is a shoddily made piece of garbage.
