    The pins for fastening the wriststaps are the weakest flimsiest plastic I've ever seen. Snapped under normal use in the first 2 days of use. If you don't plan to use the straps then. I guess they would be fine, otherwise spend the extra dollars to get something that's actually designed to use.

    I tried out my new trekking poles yesterday at Cuyahoga Valley NP. I was disappointed to find the rubber tip missing from one of the poles at the end of the day. I would hope that they should last longer than one hike.

    these are great trekking poles. I purchased these for our hiking excursions. Only been used once since I received them but they worked well. Only wish they came with their own bag to store them in.
