The are nice if you just want to visually stand out on the hill but are lacking in technical abilities.

If you can only afford one pair of skis this one will do it all. This ski doesn't excel in any particular area but it is able to keep up in backcountry, shred glades, mob bumps, and carve groomers.

That feeling when you show up at the areas premier ski shop to get bindings installed and the service guy calls out the other to come check out your pow sticks. Then he goes on to say how much he enjoyed demoing them. I got these sticks or rather shovels for deep pow to complement my all mountain skis which already handle 80-90 of the conditions. I wanted fun pow skis to carve and spray pow around. These are soft buttery skis that just love to play and hop. Crazy float. Got to test them out at Crystal Mtn with late season snowstorm and they delivered. Things got cruddy and snow real heavy midday (April end of season dump in PNW) and that's not what these are made for. Too soft to deal with Cascade concrete.

They have very simple yet cool graphics although glossy black finish may be somewhat prone to visible scratches.

All in all I think these are going to be a blast during midwinter pow at Baker and can't wait to find the deepest snow I can to surf. Also very easy to turn so should be fun between the trees. I got the 2016 model at 65% off at Sierra Trading and that was deal that had ski installer saying thank you for sharing.
