The lid arrived damaged either in storage or shipping in spite of the generous wrap bubble wrap encasing it. I'm not going to blame the shipper for the state of the lid because the box arrived in excellent condition. I'm going to blame the damage on shoddy quality of the construction. The glass of the lid is held in place with thin, flimsy metal that dents and deforms easily. Experimentally I pressed my fingernail into the existing dent and managed to deepen the deformity. The pan itself is lightweight, and it heated quickly on my induction cooktop. My food didn't stick to the pan during cooking so the coating does its job. The non-stick coating also didn't immediately peel off after one use and a couple of washes using a soft plastic scrubber so I have hopes the coating will hold out at least the year or so I get out of my T-Fals. I would be angry if I payed the full retail price of $60 that it sells for on Amazon. At the discounted price of $30, I'm not angry enough about the damaged lid or the overall mediocre quality of the item to bother with returning it. This wok will simply go into my workaday non-stick cookware until the coating inevitably fails at some point, signaling the end of its service life. However, I will not be purchasing any other pieces that Lexi has to offer.
