  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Size small black is shorts
Reviewed by Lucy from California on Friday, February 23, 2024
I have tried 3 times to get the size small in black and each time the package says "dress" but inside is a pair of shorts. I called twice and was reassured that the next one would be the dress that it says it is, but it is not. I finally ordered the black dress in a medium, and it is the dress, but too big. The green color in size small is the dress. It is a great product, but STP needs to check the size small black which is labeled incorrectly. Would love to get the size small black dress not shorts.

This shirt is well-made and has a slight sheen to it. It is much more elegant in person than the photo can show. It washes well and stays fresh. I wore it to travel and felt well put-together.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful fabric...poorly proportioned for me

I really wanted this tunic length top to work out! The fabric is beautiful, the colors soft and muted with a nice stretch. I liked the length and planned to wear it with leggings. Dressy enough for work. Practical enough for hiking (on cool days). Probably great for travel. Nice to have a pocket! Heavier weight fabric.

I sized up because I prefer the comfort of loose fitting clothing when traveling and hiking. Unfortunately for me, though the body of the shirt is roomy--really very roomy and almost too big through the chest, waist, and hip--the upper arm part of the sleeves are disproportionately (unusually) snug. If I were to size up the body of the shirt would be far, far too big--hugely so. (And, if I did size up, the sleeves might still be snug.) This is not a problem I generally have!

So, if you have slender upper arms, this might work for you! Study the pictures of this shirt. Note that it is a raglan sleeve (with a diagonal seam from underarm to collarbone) with a big pleat (both in the front and on the back) that makes the sleeve a little "boxy" near the shoulder area. Even on the model the sleeve is bunching on the upper arm near the underarm area because of the cut, the fit, the style of it. On me the bunching seemed even more pronounced, and the sleeve felt snug at the upper arm. It "fit" only because the fabric stretched.
