Founded by Tim Rajeff in Vancouver, Washington, Echo is a small fly fishing company run by people who are dedicated to producing affordable, high-quality rods and reels. With a long history as an avid angler and competitive caster, Tim began building rods in 1980 and was among the first to start using graphite fly rods in casting competitions. Today, Echo fly rods are available in a range of sizes and styles, from lightweight, single-hand rods to hard-fighting, two-handed rods. When I did try them on, there were a number of stylistic things that I was surprised by because I would normally avoid them (cuffed legs, 3/4 length sleeves, etc). It was only when I looked back at the product to review it that I realized that the item I tried to purchase didn't have these features, only the item I received did. Not sure how to get the correct item - the incorrect one is soft, but not what i was looking for.
