    Maybe it is just size 12 but they fit more like a size 8. Size 12 is usually roomy on me, so I'm not sure what the deal is. They seem very well made and as others commented, they are longer than stated in the inseam. I'm a 31.5 and I ordered a 30 inseam and they are the right length - just WAY too small. Not sure if I need to re-order a 14 or 16 - which in any other brand is falling off me.

    Ordered the size 12, true to size, and the length for my 6 ft body is great. Very comfortable. I live in AZ so the light weight canvas is fine for our weather. I like the mid rise for my older body. I do not have any problem with the short zipper that others did not like. I love all the pockets as well. This was an impulse buy and I am thrilled with the fit. Would gladly buy other colors, especially at this sale price.

    mine ran too tight in my usual size even though they were long enough. I think I had seen a smaller size in store and thought it looked like it might fit. I'm considering ordering again. they are thinner fabric, but That's fine for some of my uses
