American adds dimensions and, if the number is 62 or greater, the bag is considered oversized. The dimensions for the bag equal 70. The bag is really nice, but we need one that will not cost us $200 if we decide to take it on an airplane.

They arrived packaged in large, heavily taped bags that had torn during shipping. It took me 20 minutes to carefully remove the tape in case I needed to return them and so I wouldn’t damage the suitcases inside. The suitcases were scuffed where the bags had torn, and they’re not BritBag. They’re It Luggage. It’s hard to see the logo online because the black logo is so similar to the navy suitcase. This is not as advertised and poorly packaged. Now I’ll have to pay to ship them back.

I’m writing this at the airport, wheeling my bag in the wheel came off along with some of the plastic shell. Some of of the outside of the shell had already been broken off on the last trip. I know TSA/baggage can be tough but I’ve had other bags survive much longer.
