    I am going on a trip to Yellowstone with 3 others. We all chipped in the buy this bear spray and it wasn’t bad on price! I’d recommend buying your own if you can and splitting the cost with your party because renting spray on-location can get expensive.

    Our old bear spray was 15 years old, so we decided to get a fresh bottle. Because obviously, in a crisis you want it to work! The case that holds the can is designed really well, since the velcro loop allows it to fit on a belt loop. Easy and fast! The price was about 50% of what you pay in a sporting goods store. Sierra is the greatest!

    I just did a re-order of this since my other one expired back in 2013. Even though they may continue to spray at a diminished distance after the expiration date for "I don't know how long after, never tested one". I would think after a very long time the propellant would eventually be useless. Never had to use it and hope to never have to use it.
