They have no shape, much like pajama pants. I'm an avid sewer and I know my fabrics. These pants are not french terry. They do have a brushed inner like fleece and the outside is more like nylon. Never would I have categorized the fabric as french terry. They looked baggy and unflattering on so they were returned.
