    Despite all the crazy things going on in the world flashlights have came a long way. I remember as a kid my dad often replacing light bulbs and batteries. It seemed it was common practice to bang on the side of the flashlight to get it to come on or get the illumination a wee bit better. Now back to the present time, the Leatherman Lenser P6 works flawlessly and has a powerful light beam. The light beam can be adjusted for short or long range by sliding the light bulb housing.

    Despite being made in China, these are a product of German engineering. Both items exceeded my expectations and performed well when they needed to. Bright, clear, and dependable. I bought these after reading some reviews on a couple other sites and I'm glad I did. Most definitely worth the price tag at STP. A steal indeed. The two holsters add to the package and they also come with an extra set of batteries (Duracell).

    The flashlight lumens was impressive (the only reason it still rated a two), especially considering the small size. I was excited after reading the specifications and immediately ordered one for a gift, as well as one for myself. I was in the process of checking out the different settings, and the switch failed at this initial test. I thought it must be an anomaly, so I broke out my brother’s gift light to make sure that his worked effectively. Unfortunately, it also suffered from the same defective switch.
    I am assuming this was simply a “bad batch”, because the company has a good reputation for quality products. Hence, if it becomes available again through STP, I will probably give it another chance.
