  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Can't beat the price

I actually ordered 2 of these on clearance $15 each. Needed a larger stock pot and very surprised how nice they are. They don't look or feel cheap, either. Love the ceramic inside coating. So far, only used it for corn on the cob but see many more meals being prepared in the one I'm currently using. Haven't tried the silicone grabbers (used oven mitts). Glad I have a backup, but this looks like it will last a long time, Never heard of Risa before so skeptical why price was marked down and still available, but exceeded my expectations. Where else can you find a brand new 8 qt. stock pot with lid and pot holders for only $15?
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Inexpensive Pot

I'd never heard of Risa before I saw this pot. I needed something cheap that would work on an induction cooktop to use at work. I bought the pot as a throw away basically since it was only $20. It actually really enjoyed how well it made big pots of soup for potlucks, and it cleaned up really well. This little pot has performed better than some of the famous maker stainless pots I've bought from all over the world. I liked it so much that I bought the saucepan and stockpot combo when it appeared on Sierra for $40. Now I do have to caution that the included silicon pot holders aren't just for show. The lid and handles get hot during cooking so do use the pot holders. However now that the stockpot and the two pot set are both offered on clearance, it's a great time to pick up a couple of nice induction compatible pots that perform well.
