Viva la Reef! The history of Reef footwear and apparel goes back to a pair of Argentine surfers, Fernando and "Santi" Aguerre. In the early '80s, the entrepreneurial South American brothers moved to southern California to start Reef with only $4,000 in working capital. The brothers couldn't have known that they had created what would soon be the #1 beach sandal brand in the world. At the heart of the Reef brand are surf-inspired products worn by "Reefers" around the world like riders Bobby Martinez, Rob Machado and Sofia Mulanovich. Reef's stylish sandals are durable and have features like waterproof materials and totally sweet integrated bottle openers embedded in the soles. Reef offers apparel that says "tranquilo" and lets you lead a chill Reef lifestyle.
