Founded in 1963, Down Inc. is the only company in America that actively controls the quality of its down – from farm to finished product. More than ninety percent of the natural down fill used in all Down Inc. pillows, comforters, duvets and mattress pads is cultivated and pre-washed at the farm level before being transported to a facility in Grand Rapids. Once there, the down goes through a unique DownGuard® dual-wash process, which maintains strict quality control standards and ensures a superior finished product.
