The buttons are gorgeous. The lambswool material is amazingly warm, considering that it's unlined -- more like a sweater, but warm like a jacket. I got the charcoal, and it goes with any other color.A beautiful, high-quality item at an amazing price!

But it's a nice warm layer if you're just watching TV or sitting at the computer keyboard. The horn fasteners are difficult to work -- takes trial and error to figure out the technique. Wish the sleeves were slightly longer. Not thrilled, but I'll keep it as a topper to pull on when I'm sitting during the winter.

2.0 out of 5 stars. fine if you don't plan on moving your arms from your sideReviewed by Anonymous from md on Thursday, October 31, 2013I guess this is fine if you are wanting something to walk in, or to sit in front of the TV in. But if you plan to be at all active, using your arms at all, this sweater is just non functional. If you try to raise an arm to do anything, the whole back of the sweater lifts up with your arm because the armholes are only connected at the bottom of the sweater, Any movement of the arms lifts that whole side. Sometimes pulling your shirt with it. If the purpose of a sweater is to keep you warm, that defeats the purpose. If you go through life, zombie like, never moving your arms, it works. I hate to send anything back, so I guess I'll keep it, but surely no one actually WORE this design, and tried to do anything in it, and gave the maker feedback before it was manufactured. I'm sure the cape like arms could have been designed a bit better to give movement and a capelike flow but also let the wearer raise an arm without having the whole sweater rise up off their back.
Also, the long toggle buttons are a pain to do and undo.
The hood is a nice feature.
