One sleeve is 2" shorter than the other and the long sleeve is sown twisted and nearly shut. Must have been their first day. I'm finding Walls quality is well short of Carhartt's.

It appears that is single sewn, where Carhartt is double sewn (zipper) and triple in the sleeves, this one is double sewn in the sleeves. Sierra Trading took care of me, shipping out a replacement at no additional cost the same day I called to inform them, my defective item mailed back also at no cost to me. I cannot speak to long term durability as only worn for a week, but so far so good. I purchased a large which is slightly big on me, but that is fine because when it gets really cold I can put on additional layers underneath. In 20 and 30 degree temps here in MI, while working outside this plenty warm with just a t shirt and long sleeve shirt underneath. So far very good value for price paid.

This jacket is similar. It had not been rated when I bought it. It is a nice fall and spring jacket for Ohio. I can wear this jacket between my windbreaker that I wear in early fall, and the down jacket I wear in winter to walk the dog. The hood is very nice. it is also fleece lined, and snugs up over my head very well to keep the wind and cold out. I normally take a large. When it came, it was too tight. I like a little extra room in case I want a sweatshirt underneath. I had ordered a large. I called STP and they exchanged if for an XL with no shipping costs. I think it is going to be a great jacket to wear with temps in the 30's, 40's, and 50's in Ohio! The price was right, too.
