5.0 out of 5 stars. Took a few days, but I love it

I had the same Sherpani messenger style bag for 6 years. Nothing could beat it. Tried numerous other bags from Haiku, Timbuk2, and Sherpani again; nothing worked. I purchased this bag because the price was great and my husband loves his Timbuk2 commuter bag. It took a little bit of adjustment to the new bag, but I now absolutely love it. There are an abundance of pockets that make sense when you start organizing. On the side you would use for getting into your workout gear, there are two large pockets and one water bottle holder and plenty of space for the usual haul. On the side you use for getting showered, there is plenty of organization. I wish there were zippered slash pockets not magnetic and that there was something more useful with the exterior triangled detail on the bag's side. Also, there's no wet stash pocket so no place to leave my shower shoes if I'm coming back from the neighborhood gym where I don't have a locker. Not an issue with the gym in my building at work where I do have a locker. When stuffed, the bag does have a hard time staying on my shoulder with the handles (I have yet to use the strap). Other than a few things I would consider minor, I do love it.

This bag is very well made. Sturdy, waterproof within reason, and cleans easily with a damp cloth. I've carried 50lbs with of stuff in it and the handles didn't start to fall apart.

About Timbuk2

Originally created in 1989 by a San Francisco bike messenger named Rob Honeycutt, the Timbuk2 messenger bag is still an iconic example of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. Easily recognized by the rugged, stylish design, Timbuk2 bags were initially made to order in Honeycutt’s basement before the company opened its first shop three years later. Timbuk2’s signature three-panel, tri-color design and “Build Your Own Bag” order form first debuted in 1994 and remain extremely popular today. After more than two decades, this brand still constantly evaluates its products for performance, durability and environmental impact, ensuring that all Timbuk2 messenger bags, backpacks, laptop bags and accessories are held to the highest possible quality standards.
