I am usually an 8.5 in oxford-type shoes, and these proved true to size. I ordered an 8.5 and a 9 (based on reviews saying it runs small) and the 8.5 was just right, the 9 too big. I really like the silvery-grey color: it goes with many other colors, yet is unique. The silvery tone is subdued; these are not super-shiny, just a bit of a metallic sheen. The soles are pretty flat, but the interior is sufficiently cushioned that these are supportive enough for an urban walk. I took them for a 1.5 mile walk in LA the first day I wore them and they were so comfy. I think these shoes are a little wide, but even so, not enough to cause problems for my narrow feet. The shoes seem durable and well-made. In short, these were a great buy. I am really pleased to have them in my wardrobe and think they will last for a few years. Thanks STP!!

A big disappointment and hassle.Reviewed by Fuzby from Iowa on Monday, March 11, 2013These looked cute in the picture, and I ordered a half size up, based upon reviews and recommendation in the description. But I could barely squeeze my foot in with a light sock - WAY too small in every dimension (and I have average width feet). Plus the gray leather was peculiar in texture - looked more like plastic. Even had these fit, I feel that even the discounted price was more than they seemed worth. Then, because I don't have access to a UPS pickup, I had to wait in line at the Post Office, and spend $10 for the privilege of mailing these back. Overall, a negative experience.

They're definitely hitting the mens' oxford trend, but still look somewhat feminine. The upper is really soft, and the sole is very flat, so they almost feel like I'm not wearing shoes (a bonus, IMO). My only complaint is that the page said they run a half size small, so I ordered accordingly, and they feel about a half size too big - - so I'd say these run true to size. I would have exchanged them but by the time they arrived the size I really wanted was sold out.
