I usually wear a size 6 M, but the Sofft Varese slide was a half size too short. I reordered it in size 6 1/2 M which fit much better. I wore them all day at work, and they were very comfortable! No breaking in needed.

Sofft Varese Slide ShoesReviewed by Peggy from Rochester on Tuesday, October 1, 2013I bought these shoes in all the colors...that is how much I loved them!The ease of getting in and out of them is fantastic...,they are so comfortable and look great with everything from jeans to dress pants.Only one comment is that I thought the Chianti color would be more of a wine shade but they have a brownsh tone to them...like a burgundy brown.As first I thought I was sent the wrong color ,but I compared to the coffee color and they were more burgundy....but expect a shoe with a borwn tone to it.I love them so much I kept them anyway.All colors they come in a great.

I ordered this shoe in my usual size 7 but I am exchanging it for a 7.5 bcause my foot rubbs against the backheel making it uncomfortable. I am hopeful that the next size will fit much better.

I wear them almost every day because I must wear closed toed shoes for work. They are comfortable, good heel height and look great. I love Sofft shoes and buy my favorites from STP when I can no longer find them in the stores.
