I was a bit leery about these, since my feet don't do well in heeled thongs (they slide forward), but somehow Sofft has engineered these to stop the slide. These are gorgeous go to work then go out shoes. One drawback, where the cork-like footbed lining meets the patent leather near the thong--there is an uncomfortable ridge there. Like my other shoes with this problem, I covered the ridge with a thin layer of moleskin. Good to go!

The height of the heel is dressy but very doable and comfortable. You can walk forever without foot pain. Sofft sandals with their 2.5 inch heel are great. I have had this soft, flexible sole style in the past with various leather uppers but these were the only ones i could find recently. After wearing for a few day I ordered two more pairs .... red and white. I am very happy with them and the price was great.
