Sherpa ROCKS!Reviewed by Anonymous from SoCal on Monday, May 18, 2015I have this jacket in the quarter zip style which looks like it might be a bit more fitted through the waist which makes it a strong choice for a midlayer. But what I can speak to is the quality of everything Sherpa Adventure Gear makes and the material of this piece. It's crazy warm but somehow manages to still breath well. It doesn't have a super smooth outer finish like some of the Polar Tec pieces by Marmot but also isn't close to being one of the "fluffy' fleeces you see. All I know is that it's incredibly durable and a seriously high-performing piece. Put it on and you WANT to be outside walking in the dirt.
And because Sherpa earmarks a percentage of each item they sell directly to the Sherpa community, who also makes up their work force, you're doing some good in the process.
I've tried a lot of brands of outdoor apparel and I'd stack Sherpa up against any of them. And if you can pick this up on an STP sale? It's a no-brainer.
