I mean chunks of the rubber in the heel just crumbled and fell out. I bought one good pair of similar Sanita clogs from STP a couple of years ago. Still have them and they're fine. But since then I've tried that same model in a different color multiple times, and now this model. Apparently STP has a storehouse of defective Sanita clogs which they keep selling despite multiple complaints like mine. I have spoken with STP customer service reps a couple of times about this. All they ever suggest is replacing the defective pairs. Again, I've had several replacements (of the other model) and then tried this model hoping the defects were limited to the other model. But all have been defective. Don't waste your time.
