Country of origin had changed, maybe that's the reason for size change.

They fit true to size and provide great traction and stability. The lacing is a bit odd (just hard to know how to put the extra away), but great reflection pieces and comfortableness make for an awesome shoe.

I've been on the lookout for supportive shoes. I have a pair of Salomon boots that fit like a glove so took the chance on these. I have to say, these shoes are wonderful. They are a bit stiff and firm on the sole at first, but after about a week of wearing them to walk the dogs the soles have fitted to the shape of my foot and they are extremely comfortable. In fact, they are so comfortable that I purchased a second pair. I wear a 6-1/2 wide and the fit was true. The toes are wide enough to accommodate my foot without pinching or rubbing blisters. Great shoes!

Not just comfortable but attractive enough to draw compliments. Perfect for my feet. I dropped a star because, though unique and ultimately foolproof, the lacing system is a bit tricky for for my fingers. (See Youtube for lacing system instructions.) These are my go to walking shoes.
