The color wasn't for me, so I returned it, but I have another Mtn Hardware jacket that is waterproof and breathable and perfect, and this one seemed to be similar to the one I have, but without the insulation, so it would probably perform very well.

I find this coat to me nice and roomy. The collar goes up pretty far to block out the wind. I bought this as a good water and wind proof outer layer while snowshoeing. Awesome price. You really can't go wrong, especially if looking for a classic rain proof layer. Bought in black. Love it!

It was the right decision. The large fits perfectly. I am 5'9", about 155 lbs, normally a size 6-8. The sleeves are plenty long enough and the jacket fits very well. I would HIGHLY recommend it for this price!!!
