5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic Footwear!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Trail Runner from Pennsylvania on Monday, January 12, 2015I recently purchased the Montrail Mountain Masochist OutDry Trail Running Shoes and they are absolutely fantastic! I wore them for the first time while running in about one foot of snow and I was very impressed at how warm and dry my feet were during the entire run. It's a very comfortable shoe and I would highly recommend purchasing them.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Don' Look DownReviewed by Anonymous from Southern California on Monday, December 29, 2014First, I have to say that these are the ugliest pair of shoes I've ever purchased. Even my teenage son agrees. Got them because I needed an everyday shoe fast, and prefer a rugged water-proof high top that I can easily take from concrete to trail.
Now, let me say that they are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. Right out of the box, they felt great, so I took them straight for a run on the trail. They were and (almost six months later) continue to be beautiful, as long as I don't look down; so in the end, they have improved my running technique too! -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Wet weather bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rain or Shine hiker from Oregon on Tuesday, May 6, 2014I have both the shoe and the mid-cut boot and they are both great. I hiked all over Costa Rica through wet terrain and they never let me down. Very comfortable and light weight.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfyVerified Buyer Reviewed by ahousekat from San Francisco on Thursday, April 10, 2014I never bought this brand but I am glad I did. I am not using them for trail running but for the daily hikes of 3+ miles of city streets hills and slopes here in San Francisco. The shoes were very comfortable after breaking it in... and it is certainly water proof as I wore them in a down pour and didn't even feel any wetness.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very Well MadeReviewed by BB from NH on Thursday, January 16, 2014I got these shoes and had originally bought a size larger per the reviews but had to return them for my regular size. I think you only need the next size up if you have wide feet? Very well made and dry!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable Mid cut that keeps the water outReviewed by manderson from Minnesota on Monday, January 13, 2014Very nice shoe for my wife! Fits true to size and keeps her feet dry in our MN winter. a nice replacement for her winter boots if she doesn't want to lug them around as these are very light as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars. IffyReviewed by Blooming_annie from Colorado Springs, Co on Wednesday, October 30, 2013The elastic on the back of the ankle cut painfully into the back of my ankle on the first two short hikes I wore these on. The next time out I wore them with thicker socks and cinched them tighter around the ankle so that the entire cuff fit more closely. That seemed to help but only wore them on a relatively short hike. On the plus side, traipsed around in the snow in them for 3 hours and my feet stayed dry. Cute colors too.
