A very tight tongue on them makes them darn frustrating to put on though. I've worn them a few times and I still cannot get them smooth on the first or even second try. If you're willing to invest a few minutes in adjusting at the outset of every wearing, they're a good choice.

But they are very comfortable. As other reviewers have mentioned they don't just slip on, you kind of have to work your foot into the shoe. They are typical Merrell shoe and very comfortable to walk in. I've been wearing them every day since they arrived. No break-in time needed.

Was looking for an alternative to clogs for my narrow foot for the winter. While it doesn't just "slip" on, it is easier to put on than tie shoes, and it is so comfortable! I liked it so much I later ordered the black ones. I only wear them indoors in winter, so cannot comment on how well they wear out and about. Contrary to another reviewer, I find if anything they make my feet look smaller than most other shoes. They do tend to run narrow, so if you have a wide foot I would keep looking. I like the way they really conform to my feet.

They are more of a minimalist type shoe so the fit is a bit more snug than a traditional moc. I ordered a half size larger so I could wear my Smartwool socks with them and they fit great
