I had a friend recommend these and so I ordered a pair. At first it felt like they were going to crease too low but once I took off hiking they were PERFECT!! So many hunters recommend these and now I know why. And for the price...seriously order them now!

The deciding factor was now going to be cost as they are all over NZD$700 here in New Zealand. After being recommended sierra trading post from a friend I decided to take a browse and what I found was nearly too good to be true. The lowa hunters were on a clearance special for NZD$300 including shipping which was a offer I couldn't refuse. Service was great from STP and delivery was prompt, getting to my doorstep in less than a week.
The product itself was everything its said to be : Comfortable, 100% waterproof, durable, and definitely very well made. I can't wait to give them a good test in the mountains this winter. I highly recommend this boot and I don't think value for money can be matched with what STP are offering. -

I have a narrow foot so it just didn't work for me. Not quite as stiff as I expected. Still well made Lowa quality.

Blows most hunting boots away! Me Danner Pronghorn GTX boots are a sloppy mess compared to these. Stable on hillsides and going downhill with a load.

I train Jan-July with the same boots I hunt with Aug-Nov. I carry loads between 10-150+ pounds for days and the Lowa Hunter's hold their shape & support very well.
These are currently the best boots out there for hiking hunting in wet muskeg, ascending steep alder patches, battling tall devil's club, hopping rocks in scree piles, climbing over deadfalls, descending muddy slopes, post-holing in soft snow, & climbing icy trails in crampons. -
