This hat is toasty warm with the ear flaps down. It is a bit itchy but the warmth more than offsets this minor irratation. Plus it looks pretty darn cool too! I see more and more people wearing them of late. Bought it for discount pricing and couldn't be happier!

Everything I look for in a hat. Many, if not most of this design hat advertise large, then send a pin sized hat which could keep three or four billiard balls warm, if that's ever a necessity. This hat fits me and as my nick name is Big Melon Johanason, you should understand that trying to find a 7 5/8 hat in this style is difficult.
This is for the big domed set and actually it was a bit large on me - A REVELATION ! -

Great for snowshoeing too. With the flaps fixed up, you can roll the back and flaps down to cover your neck and ears without fully dropping the flaps ... versitile, warm ... a keeper with coupon prices.
