3.0 out of 5 stars. rugged shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Peter from Alaska/Yukon/Northwest Territories/Nunavut on Saturday, January 17, 2015Eccos fit my wide feet better than anything else and these are no exception. Pros: rugged, waterproof, breathable, good support. Cons: these would be 5 star EXCEPT that they leave black marks on floors and surfaces, making them fine for the trail but not welcome at home.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Quality made. Fit poorVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Salt Lake City on Tuesday, December 2, 2014Big fan of Ecco, but it seems of late they've made some changes. As another reviewer stated. The heel in this shoe is horrible. Reminds me of the dress shoes I had to send back. They might work for some, but for a larger foot they did not work at all. Shame. The quality of the shoe is top notch.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Not a sneakerReviewed by T from Dallas metro area on Sunday, November 23, 2014Bought these shoes for work, after two twelve hour days I con honestly say they are comfortable but very stiff/ridgid. The pictures make them look like tennis shoes but they are structured like a hiking boot. They still have the Ecco roomy toe box and support/comfort.

5.0 out of 5 stars. ECCO = EXCELLENCEReviewed by M. Scott from Chicago on Wednesday, February 5, 2014I've been purchasing ECCO footwear for about 7 years due to their dependable construction, their "out of the box" great fit, and their wide range of styles. My law enforcement job demands being on my feet for lengthy periods as well as exposure to all types of weather conditions, so in the past I've purchased other brands of footwear to suit my needs. Once I discovered ECCO I've never even looked at another brand. My recent purchase of the ECCO Drak Gore-Tex shoes replaces a similar pair of ECCO trail shoes that I've had for about 5 years. The Drak Shoes are light (like a gym shoe), offer great support and traction, are very waterproof, and seem indestructible. Although I've retired my previous pair from my job duties, I still keep them around the house for yard work. Yes, ECCO shoes are pricey, but you get what you pay for, so when you find a nice deal on them, it's time to buy. Be warned, once you wear ECCO, there's no going back.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I've come to expect of Ecco.Reviewed by Anonymous from Chicago land area on Friday, January 10, 2014Very comfortable from day 1. No break in required. This is great shoe that makes you forget that you're wearing a rugged outdoor shoe. It's performing well in the Chi-beria conditions we're currently facing.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Very painful on my heelReviewed by Anonymous from Wisconsin on Friday, November 15, 2013I love Ecco. I wear Ecco shoes every day for work and Ecco boots during the fall, winter and spring.
I was hoping these would be a nice casual shoe for most weather. Unfortunately, they were so uncomfortable
On my heel (blistered then opened in less than a day) that I could barely walk by the end of the day.
This is the only bad experience I have had with Ecco shoes.
STP was awesome with the return as they always are.
