I have many other Earth shoes with the negative heel, and this boot feels very different. They look very nice with slacks; may look a bit clunky with a skirt.

They look pretty in the picture and maybe it's just what I'm used too, but it felt like I was going to fall off them. The flap didn't seem to close enough to make them feel snug enough to be secure. Sozing was OK.

Worries put to rest with first wear!Reviewed by JustGwen from Dayton on Saturday, October 26, 2013When I first received these, I had immediate misgivings for the purchase as they felt VERY heavy in my hand due to the solid rubber wedge heels which I haven't been able to wear for a very VERY long time. I have an artificial knee on one side, surgically reconstructed ankle on the other and severe rheumatoid arthritis that loves to inflame my hips miserably. But being the fashionista at heart, I hadn't taken that into account when laying eyes on these adorable booties! These are like wearing slippers somehow. I don't know how Kalso Earth Shoe does it time and time again with their technology but they have managed to make lovely stylish shoes that fit perfectly and look cool and allow me to maintain a sense of decorum painfree! I recommend these without reservation as they are comfortable, stylish and priced to move.

The wrap over lapse is a little strange and could prove to be a problem if it gaps but they are a beautiful pair of ankle boots. I look forward to wearing them. This is my first pair of Earth shoes/boots and look forward to wearing them.
