3.0 out of 5 stars. HugeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NJ on Monday, May 18, 2015Boxy, baggy, totally unflattering, It is well made but I will have to send it back. I will have spent almost half the purchase price on shipping, with nothing to show for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect WeightVerified Buyer Reviewed by bargain babe from Brooklyn, NY on Wednesday, May 13, 2015I'm very happy I bought this jacket. First of all, the sale price was terrific. Then it fits very well. The color (wine) is very attractive. It's very comfortable to wear. Most of all it's the perfect weight for in-between fall and winter and in-between winter and spring when you need something warm but not overly heavy or cool. I would very much recommend this jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good Jacket for Outdoor WorkVerified Buyer Reviewed by M in NH from New Hampshire on Wednesday, April 29, 2015This is a good jacket for early or late winter/early spring days when you need some warmth but not too much. The fabric is heavy enough to provide good protection when pruning or clearing out thorny shrubs, but not so heavy it hinders movement. I got a medium which, even though I'm short and the coat is slightly tucked at the waist, gives me sufficient room through the hips that I could wear a heavy sweater under it. The sleeves are too long, but I don't mind because I can fold the cuff inward without any problem. On those miserable cold, windy and wet days, I find that a little extra sleeve length over gloves offers extra warmth and protection if I need to stretch to do something.
The only thing I could fault the jacket for is the sherpa lined hood which suggests that this is strictly a winter coat. And it is if all you do outside is strenuous work or, if you're more cold-blooded like I am, want a winter coat that's good for layering. But even I wouldn't wear such a hood if I was doing hot and sweaty work. For me the coat is light enough to work as a 3-season jacket which I like or those days that are in the low 30s in the morning and in the 50-60s later in the day. At these times, the sherpa lining is also unnecessary. Still for the quality of the product and the price, I can live with it. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice especially for the price.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Georgia on Wednesday, March 11, 2015Fits true to size. Great quality. One thing I would have like is the fleece lining thru all the jacket, not just the hood. But still a nice find.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Looks great, fits tightVerified Buyer Reviewed by KatieHikes from Upstate NY on Monday, March 2, 2015I think the proportions on this just might be wrong for me. It is too tight through the arms and shoulders, and stiff in the arms, making movement uncomfortable and layering impossible (I do have wide shoulders and larger arms, so it makes sense). It's a great looking jacket and seems warm and well-made, just not for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by DeniseA from MA on Wednesday, February 25, 2015This jacket is warm, slightly fitted but not restrictive and washes beautifully. Would have been a steal at twice the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fleeceadore from Wyoming on Friday, August 1, 2014This jacket is so nice with the black nylon lining and sherpa hood. The canvas jacket was high quality. I usually wear a medium and thats what I ordered. It says 10-12 for the medium. Since I have the Dickies sherpa hoodie in small 6-8, and it is a little big, I thought I would have extra room. Not so with this jacket. The shoulders were confining, and even slightly in the sleeves when I would move. It fit more like a shirt. The shoulders measured 16" across. I tried this jacket on with a light short sleeve summer shirt. In comparison to my Carhartt Sandstone Sierra jacket, that I love, (sizing for that med. 8-10), the shoulders are 19" across, quite roomy. Also, the pockets were very skimpy in the front, however it did have a small non zippered pocket on the lower inside. The length was 25" just as specified. Unfortunately, I regretfully had to send this back, as I knew I wouldn't wear it being uncomfortable.
