The look is simple and it works with trying to carry hot pans or cast iron pans. It is longer than normal which is not a problem for me as it protects more of my arm. The inside is soft and quilted and the exterior is heat-resistant silicone. It is durable and well-made. The only con I've noticed is that it does not have a loop to hang it on a hook, so I just put a safety pin on it and use that to hang it.
