Closeouts. CoVelo's waist-length jacket has an Oriental style with extravagant embroidery and sections of crinkled silk and velvet. The boiled wool technique was developed in the Middle Ages and creates a very warm, felted fabric that is not itchy.

I imagine that if you were more generously built, this jacket could be too tight. Black was definitely a secondary choice for color (I would've MUCH rather had the burgundy), but the sale price was too good to pass up even if I had to settle on color.
