But I got them to be used as utilitarian sandals and they work for the purpose. I can't find anything to exchange them for and I don't want to lose $7 for return shipping. So, they'll have to do.

I do tend to have a slightly narrow foot so I think someone with a more average width to slightly wide may not have this happen. They are still comfortable though I may not be able to use them for a long day of walking.

Nothing between the toe to irritate and they have great support. I have been looking for them for a few years now as I have an old pair I have worn out. I bought both colors and hope they last several years like the last pair did. Good traction too.
