I usually wear a medium and that is what fit, with enough room for a light weight sweater underneath. It's much more stylish than a big down coat. Really does trap your own body heat! I love it! Probably not for sub-zero weather, but has been great for our below average winter in Northern Kentucky.

So cute and stylish while being extremely lightweight and warm!! A good buy....If you are a hippy gal that's a size 14 or 16, the XL fit could be a bit snug around the bottom so be careful with that but all other areas of the fit are perfectly swell. Looks pretty modern so really cute with jeans and boots, as well as with your workout clothes. Definitely a great purchase==and the speed of processing and delivery by Sierra Trading Post is great!

I purchased this for my daughter in M grey- which was her usual size and a very nice color, but the sleeves were short and across the back was tight. Sadly, I had to return it.

Great Jacket!Reviewed by Frequent Shopper from VT on Monday, April 8, 2013This coat is super warm, I don't really like the look of the silver interior but it seems to work, it keeps me really warm without an extra layer, and it's really light weight. The collar doesn't come right up to my neck, it seems to be made a little wide, like maybe they were leaving room for a scarf?--but because of this my hair won't stay outside the coat it's always going into the collar. I wear a size 12 and bought the large. It's snug around my hips but I can zip it up and still sit down. The jacket is shinier than in the picture, I bought the black. I thought it might lose it's shine but it hasn't after a month of wear. I love this jacket and would highly recommend it.
