I actually like the soft shell liner with elastic at the cuff far better than the polyester fill liner with an open cuff found in many of Columbia's jackets. This is literally two completely separate coats that are finished beautifully and highly functional. Can speak to the waterproof aspect but I have no fears as Columbia has yet to ever let me down in that department. Outer jacket is a bit roomy BUT that comes with having the awesome detachable liner/second coat feature. Totally acceptable trade off in my book.

There's plenty of pockets in both the inner and outer jacket. It's warm, but not overly bulky. The black jacket inside looks really sharp when worn on it's own. It's a keeper, especially at STP prices.

I was leary because of the low price. I mean a Brand New Columbia 3 in 1 Jacket for under $100. My scam alert went off. But I figured why not after looking at the reviews I figured I would take a chance. Jacket arrived at my house 4 days after I placed my order (Considering I ordered it at midnight on a Friday, that is pretty fast shipping!!) The jacket was Brand New in the packaging and still had store tags on it. I ordered the yellow and grey and although probably going to see dirt on the yellow easier than other colors, have yet to get any on it. The jacket is the warmest jacket I have ever owned and have to take it off even in the car because it really holds in your body heat!! I couldn't have imagined a better online transaction than this was and without a doubt will be ordering 3 more jackets for my children. I give the jacket, the price, shipping, and the Sierra Trading Company themselves two thumbs up, 5 stars, and a perfect 10 out of 10. Thanks for the great jacket at the most ridiculously low price I have ever seen, the fast as heck shipping, and the great coupons that accompanied the jacket for my next three purchases. I am no longer going to wait in line for any winter jackets myself or my family needs because I will be right back to Sierra Trading where I can get all 3 of my children jackets at a lower price than 1 would cost a the local box store.
