5.0 out of 5 stars. Sweet Titanium Shell But Colors Are BrightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeff from Kentucky on Tuesday, June 16, 2015In my opinion, you cannot beat Price/Quality balance of these Columbia titanium shells. Especially for the price on STP!!!
Honestly get yourself one now!! These are tough and bomb-proof against weather. The strong omni-tech material is comfortable and durable.
These fit big on me. I am 6 feet and 210 lbs. The XL is huge on me. Would buy large.
I was not fan of the colors. It is really bright blue and really bright green. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Almost PerfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nor'east Skier from Vermont on Saturday, March 21, 2015I only have worn it skiing one day, but it worked well. The temperature started in the high twenties and got up into the forties. I wore a shirt and fleece under it and I was warm in the morning. When the temperature climbed, I just unzipped the pits & side pockets and I cooled right down. Perfect day for this jacket because it worked perfectly. The main zipper is a little tough to work sometimes, and the jacket is a little stiff at first, but I still like it. I have not yet tried it in the rain, but it looks like it will exceed there too. Only gave 4 stars because of the drape, stiffness, and zipper, which, at this price point, should be flawless.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Quality @ Bargin Value Price.Reviewed by BMW from Columbus Ohio on Thursday, April 3, 2014Columbia Titanium product line is their top of the line quality product. While North Face quality has declined with mass marketing fame, Columbia Titanium product line quality has continued to impress me. Given STPs special promo prices this jacket is a "best Buy" value. It's got best in class zippers and the zipper handles are most impressive. I prefer under arm pit zips. Yes, they're harder to work with the jacket on than chest place vents but if you ever get catch in the rain or even a dizzy you'll quickly learn why having them under your arm pits is best. Titanium Workmanship is excellent as one can see by inspecting the inside lining and seams. High end with details no longer found in many higher priced jackets. Features like a pocket key/chain clip, rubber wrist band Velcro straps and those wonderful zipper handles. Columbia runs true to size for me (XL) but because I want have the ability to have a goose down mid-layer on cold days I buy Columbia snow sports wear in a 2XL. The MRSP on these jackets which don't contain Columbia's new Omni-Heat and new more breathable materials is $100 less. STP has another similar priced batch of Columbia Shell Jackets which I also bought one for spring skiing. The $100 savings enables you to buy a mid-layer goose down jacket to use on cold days. The hood has an excellent stiff brim and the usual adjustments that work. I don't wear a helmet but it appears to me to be large enough for helmet coverage. Bottom line this isn't going to be as breathable like a Mountain Headwear 'Snowtastic' ski/hiking jacket that cost $100 to $130 more on sale. But at around $100 sale price this is an outstanding quality product at a barging price which saves you enough money to by a Columbia 800 down jacket on sale to use as a mid-layer.

4.0 out of 5 stars. good looking jacketReviewed by shejd from new york on Friday, January 31, 2014this is a nice jacket. I have not tried it out yet as it is a raincoat and it is still too cold here
in the northeast for just a raincoat.
it is true to size which was important.
there are arm vents which don't show in the picture and I assume they will
work well. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. DaveReviewed by Jeepman from VA on Sunday, April 21, 2013I've worn this Jacket in pouring rain storm and in winterstorms with alot of snow falling down. A really good jacket and is also good for layering
Definitely recommend this jacket. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Narrow in the ShouldersReviewed by JPM from Chesapeake, VA on Monday, April 8, 2013This jacket has great features and is a great value...BUT: if you have broad shoulders/chest, it will be tight. I'm 6'3", 230lbs, with a 48" chest. This jacket was much too tight in a 2XL, and I sent it back. The sleeve length was great, but I would not have wanted to wear it if needing any kind of extra layering.

4.0 out of 5 stars. NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Wet in Seattle from Seattle, WA on Monday, February 11, 2013The jacket is a slender cut. I'm 6'2", and ordered an x-large. It is a little bit big, but I wanted that to layer. I am afraid that a large would have been great with regular clothing, but not big enough to layer a thick sweater.
The arms are quite long, probably 2 inches past my wrists, however I like that as well so I can overlap my gloves, cinch down the cut straps and stay warm.
The pit zips are a pain as others have said, however I got used to that within a few days.
