These have a sturdy sole, and they look cute, so that mission was accomplished. That being said, I was a little sad to realize they are a bit on the small side. They don't come in half sizes, which would really help! I have a 7.5 or 8 foot, depending on the shoe, and I bought an 8. In a normal sock, my toe is right up against the edge. I'm hoping (perhaps ignorantly) that they might stretch a little as I wear them. I thought about returning them or exchanging them for a 9, but I'm not going to bother. I'll wear them and hope for the stretching best.

But 9 might have been to big and floppy. They are also rather narrow especially in the toe box. If you have wide feet, I don't think you will find these well fitting and comfy. I'm on the fence about keeping them. Not sure if they will stretch out much. But they are very warm and soft on inside. Sole is definitely more shoe like with some support.
