It is cozy and warm, and still is not overly bulky. The color is true; a nice deep and rich purple. My only issue is that there are not additional colors because i would love many more of these hoodies.

This looks much better in the catalog than it did on. I was surprised to see that the hoodie had knit type panels on the sides. I don't remember seeing that in the description in the catalog. I did not like the fit so returned it. I think if it was made entirely of the main material it would have been a much nicer fitting jacket.

I would have preferred it a bit longer. The material is thick cotton. I would say it runs somewhat small. I bought a medium and I would have preferred a little more room to layer underneath. It is well made and definitely is Carhartt quality.

It is a just right weight that doesn't make you feel too hot or too cold. I especially like the soft peach finish. It seems to run true to size. The purple plaid hood is a lovely contrast. It also has a nice length and cute buttons. I've worn mine with a purple turtleneck shirt and have gotten complimented on it.
