It is NOT a heavy, waterproof garment nor is it intended to be. But it is a very packable top layer. While the magnetic sleeve attachment is quite functional, if you are impatient, fumble with things or are just someone who prefers zippers or snaps...this is not for you. Everyone else will love having this garment in their cycling wardrobe. I only dropped it a 'star' because as a top layer, I thought it should have some more bright color area for visibility. Some do I believe, but there wasn't stock in my size. Overall, a nice buy & works well in light rain!
