It's rather rough and not what I'm used to from Calida. Also the sleeves and legs are too short, although otherwise true to size (obviously not made for a tall person). It is warm and comfortable, though.

The fabric, and I did wash before wearing, is a bit coarse feeling, not like the beautiful soft interlock cotton of my other ones. Fabric is thickish, and they took a while to line dry, but they should be quite warm in a cold bedroom. The top is quite oversized, but I suppose this makes them roomy. Orangey red is vibrant.

Interesting pajamasReviewed by Extradish from Michigan on Sunday, March 9, 2014I like pj bottoms that have ankle cuffs so that the pants don't keep getting tangled up all night, so I ordered these. Since I wear a size 16 pant, I ordered the XL. The bottoms fit fine, but the top is cut extremely large. It has a waistband that pulls the material in at your waist, and then the rest of the material hangs down over that and hides the waistband, kind of like an oversized sweatshirt might. I would wish for less material in the top, and eliminating of the elastic at the bottom of the top. That said, these are good for winter ...heavier than other Calida PJs I have purchased. The material is not their typical cotton. It's more of a stretchy cotton/poly knit blend. Unfortunately, these are made in China. All the previous purchases I made of Calida were made in Hungary. I don't love them, but there don't seem to be many choices for winter weight PJs with cuffed bottoms. That and the Calida name were the reason I bought orange PJs for the first time in my life.

We've had such cold weather and our little house, former cabin, is heated by our fireplace insert. It does a really good job but not in the bedrooms. So sleeping warmly is a challenge in the single digits that we have had for more nights than ever before . My flannel pjs were buttoned up v necks, which didn't keep my upper chest and neck warm. And the legs rode up under the covers. These Calida Marina pjs have the cuffed wrists and ankles which don't ride up and a high neck. So I've been sleeping so much better that I call these my miracle pjs!
