I think sizes are changing and getting unpredictable with many companies, but didn't expect it from Calida. Decided to increase to a medium for comfort. I'm 5' tall and while wearing them can extend the legs more than a foot, they're about what I think a size 16 might be in U.S. sizes. I wear a petite 10 when I can find it. I decided to keep them since they'll be warm for winter. Customer service folks at STP are great. Next time I'll talk to them before ordering Calida.

I must disagree with some of the negative comments.
These pyjamas do not itch at all. Maybe it is residue of detergent that could make them itchy? My pyjamas has not been washed yet,
and do not itch. I have purchased Calida for many many years, sleepwear, underwear, socks, and casual clothes, they last practically
indefinitely, and never itch.
"Baumwolle" is the common German word for cotton, in this case 100% cotton.
I agree that they are very ample. The positive side of this is that the legs and sleeves are just right for a tall person with long arms.
I am 5 feet 5 inches and sleeves and legs are just the right length in Medium.
The long double cuffs on legs and arms are comforable and not tight, and in general the pyjamas is warm without being overly so.
Grab these when you can, a little thicker nightwear does not come around often.

The pant legs don't ride up and there is nothing too tight or binding with the style. I'm 5'7" & 155lbs and the medium fits wonderfully. Lightweight fabric but warm and cozy.

They have always been made with 100% cotton. I noticed that this pair of pjs is itchier than others and I could not understand why. It is made of something called baumwolle. This is not the same as cotton. Baumwolle is a fabric that looks and feels a little like wool. Now I do. This item is not described correctly. It is NOT made of 100% cotton.

The listed inseam on the pants is also accurate. I therefore have pajamas that won't ride up or pull down off of my tail end because they're too short for tall old me. Thanks, everyone!

I know they tend to run large, but I ordered these in small, and tgey were swimming on me, even after I tried washing them in the hope that they would shrink. No such luck. In addtion to the sizing, the fit is weird, with the top cominc down akmost below my hips...again in a small. Back the went.
