5.0 out of 5 stars. Browning Full Curl ParkaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Joseph from Maryland on Monday, December 8, 2014This parka fit my needs in every way. Fit is perfect and was surprised at just how water proof it is. I took it out this weekend scouting for deer and we had a steady rain with a good stiff wind. The rain never soaked into the parka even though the material looks like it would. I stayed warm and dry even after being out for 3 hours. My only complaint would be that it does pick up the burs and takes some time to get them off. I did not get the same impressions as some other reviewers gave in how the material felt thin and would tear easy. I found the parka to be very well made and should give me many years of good service. Lastly, the price is absolutely phenomenal! I wouldnot hesitate to make this purchase again.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great insulation value for the weight.Reviewed by Hcore hunter from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 2, 2014I bought this parka just this season and so far I love it! It looks like a nostalgic old school wool parka but has all of the modern technical elements of a high end parka. It is really well designed. As far as insulation value, the wool layer is itself not very thick but gets much of its insulation from the down vest. That being said, I can't wear just this parka and stay warm in below freezing temperatures because my arms get cold so if the temperatures are below freezing I need to wear several layers to stay warm. I was out this evening and I was wearing three layers underneath the parka. A light wool layer, a 200 W fleece and a wind blocker fleece/softshell hybrid which was the perfect setup to stay warm and dry in the 30 F 5-10 MPH wind with freezing rain and sleet. I was also wearing the matching bibs with several layers under that. I'd imagine that a similar setup would keep me warm in 15-20 F weather if it wasn't raining or too windy. The reason I only gave it four stars is because the hood isn't all that great, and the exterior material doesn't seem very durable. I will definitely not be busting briars in this parka because the thorns pull out the wool threads. Also the hood doesn't seem big enough. But maybe if I owned a large instead of a medium it would be ok. I usually wear medium jackets, t-shirts, and coats so I purchased a medium. If I don't put many layers on it fits perfectly, but with the layers on I mentioned, it is a little tight. If I was doing it over again I would purchase a large because the times I need a parka is when it is really cold which is also when it is nice to put more layers on. With the down vest inside, I would say it is almost as bulky as any other parka of the equivalent R value, but it is much lighter than any other parka. If you're looking for a warm hunting parka that is light, fits well, and works great for hunting, then this parka is for you. But if your looking for something to bust briars or ride the range in, then this parka probably is not for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Browning Full curl parka 3 in 1Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Alabama on Wednesday, November 19, 2014Awesome parka! Coldest worn to this point has been 27 degrees. Pulled off at around 38 degrees for being too hot with the vest in.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Browning Full Curl JacketReviewed by JSmoove from Canada on Sunday, October 5, 2014I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of this jacket. Not too baggy and not too snug. Wore the jacket without the inner removable vest on a few fall days and was warm the whole time. On first glance it looks like an nostalgic wool jacket but with closer inspection you notice the modern elements that make this coat so comfortable. With the down vest and wool outer layer, this jacket will work great this white tail season and hopefully for many to come. I have no complaints so far, but will update my review once the season is over.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Warmth without bulk. Nice feel. Ran too small.Reviewed by DonS from Dallas, TX on Tuesday, February 4, 2014I don't know why Browning would go through the trouble of making such a nice coat only to skimp on materials when sizing.
This coat has a good feel to it. It breaks the wind and keeps you warm without making you look like a stuffed pillow. That is why I wanted a wool coat.
I wear an XL because I like enough room to layer if needed and not feel bound. This XL was sized more like a L. Some of that feel may be due to the elastic inside that holds it close, but even when fully expanded it was too tight for comfort and I only had a shirt underneath.
I tried to reorder an XXL but they were sold out. I regret that I have to return this one. I really liked it.
