Very warm, but breathable inside so I didn't get too hot. If I had to go out into the storm, I just threw on a waxcloth storm shell and pulled up the hood on this sweater. It was very convenient not having to keep up with a hat.
The color is attractive, and the fit of the European large is just right for me, who takes a US medium in most garments. I'm 6'0" and 160lb, and the length is very good. Sleeves are a bit longer than I need, but the cuffs fit fairly tightly and do not slide down over my hands.
I would definitely buy this again.
