Otherwise, I really like it.

The pull tie in the collar strikes me as a pointless detail, too. It's summer, so I can't address the warmth of this jacket, but it looks like it will be perfect for fall... and even cool summer nights.

It is slightly fitted and has capacious pockets. I got the blue which is a vibrant color. It is true to size. My only gripe is the neck which is very high and has a drawstring closure which seems unnecessary. I probably will pull the drawstring out.

It's warm, a nice heavy weight, and flattering cut.. I love the thumb holes. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. I am usually between a small and medium - ordered a small and am glad I did - it is quite roomy, enough for layers underneath, but still a nice trim fit.

It is so soft, plush and warm. this jacket is nice and heavy and just perfect with a thin turtleneck underneath for running, horseback riding or everyday wear. I always look for the Avalanche brand because I know I am getting quality at an awesome price.

My only quibble is that the hem is a little baggy--would be better with a bit of elastic to keep its shape. It's very warm, suitable for inside on cold mornings and for errands in town, dog walking, camping.
