4.0 out of 5 stars. Good all around shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by The surveyer. from Ozarks on Saturday, October 17, 2015Very comfortable. Seem true to size. Rather Heavy. I thought the insole was rather thin and provided very little support. replaced it with a good gel orthotic. Made these good shoes great.

4.0 out of 5 stars. well builtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Danno from Verona, NJ on Friday, March 13, 2015Mephisto makes excellent shoes, that's a well-known fact. I can't say enough good things about the leather moccasins I have of theirs. This particular model feels very similar to their Match walking shoe. It's a comfortable, cushiony fit, but they tend to be on the bulkier side; if you were to play a game of tennis in these you'd be tripping over yourself. They are made for everything else however, as the Allrounder name suggests. The craftsmanship is spot-on, as the materials and stitching reveal. Definitely element resistant and very breathable. Although they are made in Vietnam, I can't see any reason to discount the overall quality because of this. This particular colorway - olive and bark - I found very interesting and unique compared to many other old fogie walking shoes. It has a skater shoe look which looks great with a pair of khakis. If you can catch them during one of STP's 30% off sales, you're getting a steal. The sole is very comfortable and solid. The midsole, however, felt a little weak compared to the heel and ball areas of the foot, which were very sturdy. The reason I returned these was due to the ankle collar which is pointed, as you can see in the picture. After two days of attempting break-in, my left rear ankle was chafed, so they didn't work out for me and the collar remained as stiff as a bat. What's odd is that my right rear ankle was fine. If they had been designed with the U-shaped ankle collar, which I find much more comfortable, I most likely would have kept them. This feature may or may not be an issue for you, the only way is to order them and try them on. Happy Trails.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Your feet will love youVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Southwest Florida on Monday, January 26, 2015I have worn Mephisto shoes before but none with as sporty a look as the Bromwell Oxfords. They are very comfortable, fit well and very well made. The shoe size I selected was a 10.5, as I fit between a 10.5 and 11. The 10.5 offered plenty of toe room. They feel a little wide but offer great support. I wear a little heavier sock with these shoes and there is no compromise in the comfort dept. I purchased a pair in black and found I could wear them with most anything. Two weeks later I bought the Brown pair as well. After, walking, light hiking and everyday casual wear, I rat these shoes as superb!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Mephisto Quality for under $ 100Verified Buyer Reviewed by Whomper CPA from California on Thursday, September 11, 2014My first pair of Mephitos is still in my closet. They were purchased in 1995, have been resoled three times, were made in France, and cost $ 136 on sale. The recently purchased pair fit perfectly as their sizes remain consistent despite the country of origin, i.e. France, Portugal, Vietnam. The detail and attention to quality are up to their standards. I have at least 6 pair of Mephistos now, dress shoes, casual shoes, walking and hiking shoes. These are great shoes and are quite comfortable as I have flat feet.
