5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable!Verified Buyer Reviewed by morningcoffee from virginia on Tuesday, February 3, 2015Great chair! It is very compact, lightweight and very comfortable. I will be using it for motorcycle camping trips. I purchased 2 and have tested them out at home and haven't noticed any problems. The sling is somewhat hard to get over the poles at first, but that helps it stay taut and stable. I have read lots of online reviews elsewhere about these chairs and that was one complaint. Another thing to watch out for is which version of the chair you receive. One version does have a design flaw which causes the poles to collapse rendering the chair useless, but you can easily verify which version you receive by contacting Alite - they are very helpful. I am super stoked to have these chairs!! Thanks STP!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good balance of quality materials and light weightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Los Angeles on Thursday, September 18, 2014I also have the REI Flexlight chair and think this is a slightly better chair. I like the back support in the Alite a little better than the REI one and even though some people think it's a negative, I like how the Alite sits close to the floor. The reason is because it's nice to stretch out your legs and being that low allows you to do that easier than the higher sitting Flexlight. They are both made from quality components but I like how the hubs of the frame are made from aluminum on the Alite compared to plastic on the Flexlight. I don't have any evidence that the plastic hubs on the Flexlight won't function just as good as the Alite's aluminum hubs, but in my mind; metal is usually better than plastic. Last but not least, the Alite (thanks to STP) was also cheaper than the Flexlight as well. I'm keeping both chairs because they are both top notch camping chairs.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great ChairVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from oregon on Tuesday, August 12, 2014Just purchased this chair and will use it in the next couple of weeks. While it sits low to the ground, it seems to have more back support than other chairs of this type. Very small and compact. Plan to use it on a kayak trip.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable backpacking chairVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eagle Dad from San Diego, CA on Tuesday, August 12, 2014Very well needed at end of day by 56-year old troop leader bduring week-long Yosemite backcountry backpacking trip. Chair is very comfortable, very light and packable. Weighs under 2 pounds so not a big addition to your pack. Better to sit and relax in a chair like this after a long day chasing young, eager Boy Scouts than on a rock or a log. But be careful the boys don't mess with it (pranks) because they tend to get jealous over equipment that they don't have. Sturdy, well-built for a 159 pound person. Might not hold up for someone over 200 pounds.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Majestic sitting!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, August 7, 2014This is a great camp/concert chair! I highly recommend it. My only complaint is I wanted to order another one but Derailed was out of stock. So now I have to sit in our old beach chair while my husband is styling in his new Mayfly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Camp Chair Ever!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Conundrum Maine from Maine on Friday, August 1, 2014Bought two of these chairs for activities ranging from picnics to the beach to outdoor concerts. They are incredibly light, pack down into a very small package, are a snap to assemble and disassemble, and most importantly are extremely comfortable. You can choose to sit level or rock back onto the rear supports which provides flexibility for uneven ground or even just the ability to use the chair as a rocker if you hate to sit still. These chairs are brilliant!
