5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these leggings, size up!

I have several pairs of these leggings and they are thick, stretchy and durable. I particularly love wearing them in the winter under my coveralls but they are even nice enough to wear out and about, running to town and etc. I am 5'4" tall, about 122 lbs, 27" waist and 36" hips. I normally wear an XS, a size 2 or a size 26 (in Levis). I take a size small in these in either the regular or short inseam, they fit perfectly (the XS is way to tight to be comfortable but I can get them on - with effort!).

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Almost No Stretch At All

First time trying Carhartt product because of the good reviews and recommendations. I am usually a small or xs on tights (5’4” 144 lbs) but this was a struggle to put on because of lack of stretch, but they look great once on. I give it 3 stars because leggings are supposedly stretchy not stiff. The fabric is more of like a nylon.

My husband couldn’t believe I wear Carhartt’s. I love these leggings for hiking, snowshoeing, gardening and yard work. They’re rugged and wash well. They are warmer than standard yoga pants. The higher waist prevents “plumber syndrome”. I’m 5’7”, 180 lb, size 12. Large Tall fits perfectly.

Nice quality and thick. I am a size 6 and ordered a small, couldn't get them above my normal size hips.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
