4.0 out of 5 stars. Supportive Bedroom Slippers for the Great OutdoorsReviewed by TheBob_1 from Blue Ridge Foothills of Virginia on Friday, March 15, 2024I’m neither athlete nor sports writer, but I do have two feet and enjoy walks in the rolling countryside around my home in the Blue Ridge foothills of Virginia. At age 64, I have had both knees replaced over the years, and chronic plantar fasciitis along with something akin to neuropathy in both feet for over a decade. I have worn hiking boots, tennis shoes, and many other types of footwear, and currently am loving these trail runners - possibly more than any other footwear I have used for casual country hikes, not to mention all say wear around the house, office, and around town. I love the zero drop and roomy toe box - super helpful to spread the toes, not cram them unnaturally together like most other shoes, as well as the light weight, soft yet supportive soles and insoles, almost invisible feeling uppers, and all that comfort and lightness atop some surprisingly deep lugs for traction in woods snd on trails. The overall comfort combined with superb lateral stability is what cinches the deal for me. A week into owning these, I ordered another pair and might upgrade rating to a 5. Im still adjusting laces for the right tightness, as I feel like the tongues want to move a but to one side. Regardless, I love how these feel and can’t believe Im walking through woods feeling almost barefoot - just a lot better. Great shoes, and I hear runners live them too
